Tu 4th nov: Reading time!

I got there and children asked me: "Today's the reading day, isn't it, oi?" I said "Mhm...Let me see..." And yes, it was! They spent one hour reading any book they liked, as long as it wasn't a compulsory one. That is a new project the school has planned for this year. Their aim is to motivate students to read and to show them they can enjoy by doing that. They do that one hour per week, each week differently, so as not to bother the same teacher the whole time.

There were some children that took the compulsory book of Català o de Llengua castellana and that wasn't fair becaus they weren't feeling the pleasure of reading. Some others forgot to bring the book. They had to spend this hour copying a student's book, the one they preferred.
